today launched its newest feature: GovSense.
GovSense is an enhanced searching tool bundled in its online products
covering more than 350,000 government decision makers. GovSense is initiated when subscribers run searches
for "Position Title" in any of the following categories:
- Emergency
- Information Technology
- Program
- Purchasing
As an example, a subscriber may want to search for someone who is an "Emergency Manager."
GovSense retains "Emergency" in the search query and offers a checklist of related terms from which to choose.
Now in a single search, GovSense finds a variety of positions that perform the same or similar functions
within government. Prior to implementing this feature, a search of this nature would have required multiple searches.
